FAQ
Common questions
Do I need permission for a pergola?
Depending on its size and the town, a prior declaration (déclaration préalable) may be required. We tell you during the visit.
Which timber for outdoors?
Use class 3 or 4 timber (pressure-treated pine, Douglas fir, tropical hardwood) depending on exposure to rain and ground contact.
Do you repair old roof timbers?
Yes: we replace or strengthen damaged pieces after inspecting on site.
